    It is great when …
It is great when people say they hate America, but want to be able to do what they want and have their own opinions. And not that im saying ou are not entitled to your opinion, but if you dont like, no law says you are not allowed to leave, burning the flag is such a terrible thing, and wy anyone would do suc a thing is beyond me after all it has done for you

    Thank GOD for Rick …
Thank GOD for Rick Monday! Awesome video! Although I was a bit sickened by Lasorda (a bit of an egotist obviously) trying to “almost” take credit for what MONDAY did . . . the heroism of Monday did was not lost! and for those of you who don’t like our country & our flag and what it stands for – PLEASE (i repeat PLEASE) move to Iran or North Korea. We won’t miss you a bit!!!

    It’s a classic. It …
It’s a classic. It truly is one of not only baseball’s, but sport’s greatest moments. It’s wonderful to see that people haven’t forgotten about it. I find it not ironic that the following year, Monday was traded to the Dodgers, where he closed out his career.

    “Go move to China …
“Go move to China or North Korea if you want to say that about my country.” (I took the liberty of correcting your grammar and spelling.)

So basically you’re saying “move to totalitarian state if you want to say things about my country that I don’t like.” Do you see the irony here? Do you realize that the Chinese and North Korean governments have the exact same attitude toward dissent as you?

    He should have let …
He should have let them light the flag on fire then pushed them on top of it. What a couple of dumbasses, burning the flag in 1976. o, several years too late, numbnuts. They probably later showed up for Disco Demolition Night in 1983.

    It was a basic …
It was a basic mistake, they thought the flag itself would be enough, but with matches in a stadium? No way, they should have used an already doused fuel and used a spark lighter instead of a match.
